Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly made an enquiry for West Ham United transfer target Memphis Depay.
That’s according to a report from Spanish publication SPORT who claim that Tottenham have asked about Depay’s availability when speaking to Barcelona about signing Clement Lenglet.

The Scot faces a tough task ahead though, with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte thought to be keen on signing Depay.

Spurs have Champions League football to offer the Dutchman and under Conte, they are a club on the rise, whether we like to admit that or not.
Tottenham enquiry for Depay is bad news for West Ham
SPORT reckon that Spurs have asked about the possibility of signing the Holland international this summer.
And if Tottenham end up signing him for just £17 million, we think it would be a big blow for the Hammers.
That sounds like great value to us considering the 28-year-old’s quality and undeniable talent.
We think that Depay would be a very good signing indeed for West Ham. It’s just a shame that Tottenham are seemingly interested in acquiring his services as well.
The 28-year-old bagged 13 goals and two assists in 37 games for Barcelona last season (Transfermarkt).

The former Manchester United ace is an enigmatic, precocious talent and on his day he is unplayable. Depay is incredibly strong as well and would be ideally suited to leading the line on his own for the West Ham.
Sure, he has displayed some attitude problems in the past but who better to get him on the straight and narrow than David Moyes?
With Barcelona allegedly now demanding just £17 million for the Dutch flyer, signing him seems like somewhat of a no-brainer for the Hammers.
With Tottenham allegedly having made an enquiry for Depay though, West Ham may well have our work cut out if we are to sign him this summer.
