West Ham United are allegedly still interested in signing Conor Gallagher from Chelsea on transfer deadline day.
That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge who has suggested that the 22-year-old could be a potential outgoing at Chelsea today.

David Moyes has been a really busy man in the transfer market already this summer.
The Scot has signed eight new players so far, including two centre-backs, a defensive midfielder, a left winger, a centre-forward, a midfield play-maker, a left wing-back and a goalkeeper.

However, it seems as though Moyes is far from finished in his player recruitment, with deadline day now upon us…
West Ham could still make transfer deadline day move to sign Conor Gallagher
The 22-year-old Chelsea midfielder has made an inauspicious start to the season for the Blues.
He is still a really talented player though, and it appears as though a move away from Stamford Bridge is still very much a possibility for the English midfielder this summer.
Michael Bridge suggested that the Hammers are still keeping an eye on Gallagher on transfer deadline day, when speaking on Sky Sports Good Morning Transfers this morning at 7:08 am:
“Yes, it’s going to be a really busy day at Chelsea. Potential incomings and outgoings. Let’s start with Conor Gallagher, he’s wanted by a number of Premier League clubs. Talks of Crystal Palace signing him on a permanent deal, interest from West Ham as well. But listen, Thomas Tuchel the other night said he’s very, very short of midfielders. We’ll keep an eye on that one.”
The four-capped England international would be a fine addition for West Ham, that goes without saying.
Gallagher was brilliant during his loan spell with Crystal Palace last season.
He has bagged eight goals and three assists in 34 Premier League games for Palace (Transfermarkt).

During those appearances, the 22-year-old averaged 2.4 tackles, 1.7 dribbles and 1.3 key passes per game (Who Scored).
He has incredible energy, drive, passion, determination and commitment to the cause. On top of all that as well, Gallagher is incredibly gifted from a technical perspective.
He’s been described as an ‘immense talent’ by Sport Bible.
The Englishman is obviously very highly rated at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will demand around £40 million for the 22-year-old’s signature (The Express).
Whether West Ham would be prepared to splash that kind of cash on Gallagher on transfer deadline day is doubtful. Perhaps a loan move would be the ideal outcome for all parties involved.
