According to a report from the Sun, Arsenal are lining up a move for another West Ham player, once the deal to sign Declan Rice is completed.

Hammers boss David Moyes faces a busy summer transfer window ahead after Rice leaves, with plenty of exciting incomings expected at the London Stadium.

Shock report claims Arsenal now want to sign another West Ham player after Declan Rice is done

According to a report from the Sun, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta wants to bring Ben Johnson, 23, to the Emirates in the summer transfer window.

Johnson was really poor for West Ham last season and seemed to regress badly.

His positional awareness and concentration levels are so poor – it’s actually been quite sad to see his fall from grace after what was such a promising start to his West Ham career.

It was claimed last week that Moyes is looking to sell the 23-year-old defender this summer.

And with a move for Max Aarons believed to be in the pipeline for the Hammers, it would be no surprise to see Ben Johnson leave.

However, it would be a big shock if Arsenal were the club who sign Ben Johnson this summer.

In my opinion, he is nowhere near good enough to be playing for the Gunners. And if Arsenal bring the 23-year-old to the Emirates after they’ve sealed a deal for Declan Rice, there will undoubtedly be plenty of eyebrows raised in both east and north London.
