West Ham United are reportedly set to make a move to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.

According to The Mirror journalist James Nursey, Norwich full-back Max Aarons is firmly on the radar of West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The East London outfit have been linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old Norwich ace for quite some time now – most recently last summer.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be keen to improve his right-back department with Ben Johnson proving to be nowhere near good enough and Vladimir Coufal set to turn 31 in August.

And it seems as though Aarons could be the man for the job…

West Ham imminently set to move for Max Aarons

James Nursey of the Mirror took to Twitter today to suggest that a Hammers move for the 23-year-old Norwich star will be imminent:

“Arsenal closing on Declan Rice. A couple of other likely deals to look out for are Fulham willing to pay £11.5m for Sevilla’s Lucas Campos (despite Saudi interest) & #WHUFC to move soon for #NCFC right-back Max Aarons.”

I think that Aarons would be a very good addition for West Ham, and he’d be a big upgrade on both Johnson and Coufal.

The Norwich ace has plenty of pace and has the kind of energy that David Moyes ideally looks for in a player.

Football Scouting Experts have described him as a sensational player, whilst Breaking The Lines suggest that he has ‘outrageous acceleration’.

Norwich will allegedly demand around £30 million for Max Aarons (The Times), but I think that might just be a little bit steep for West Ham, in spite of how good he is.

£20-25 million and we’re talking. Either way, I think that the 23-year-old would be a big upgrade on what the Hammers currently possess at right-back.
