A shock new report claims West Ham are pushing to sign not one but two rapid strikers right now in Youssef En-Nesyri and Hugo Ekitike.
Yesterday we reported on comments from West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking and his concerns about the club’s transfer dealings.
Sir Trev rightly warned David Moyes that he simply must bring more goals into the team before the summer transfer window closes.
And it seems, if reports on West Ham’s transfer activity this week are anything to go by, Moyes and co have heeded Sir Trev’s advice.
The Hammers have been linked with a host of forwards this week.

Lack of goals saw Hammers flirt with relegation last season – they can’t make the same mistake again
Big money moves for Sebastien Haller and Gianluca Scamacca have not worked for West Ham in recent years.
Moyes inherited Haller but chose Scamacca. Neither fitted into his style or system. And West Ham fans have been calling for the club to replace Scamacca and find a long-term heir to Michail Antonio – who turns 34 this season.
Scoring goals was a massive problem for West Ham in the Premier League last season. And the club cannot afford to leave themselves short in that department if they want to get back to challenging for the European places.
It seems Moyes may have finally accepted that if the latest speculation is accurate.

A shock new report claims West Ham are pushing to sign not one but two rapid strikers right now in Youssef En-Nesyri and Hugo Ekitike.
West Ham supporters following this week’s transfer rumour mill will have seen links to the Sevilla’s Moroccan forward En-Nesyri and PSG’s outcast Ekitike.
It has been claimed West Ham technical director Tim Steidten and Hammers delegates have held separate meetings in France and Rabat over Ekitike and En-Nesyri in the last 48 hours.
Most would assume that talks over the duo are a case of West Ham hedging their bets to try and get one forward in the door.
But according to Foot Mercato West Ham have been scarred by last season’s flirtation with relegation and want to sign both En-Nesyri and Ekitike while they continue talks for Mohammed Kudus.

‘Move for En-Nesyri not linked to Ekitike chase’ as West Ham target both jet-heeled strikers
“The management is looking for two attackers who can play in pivot and with a good back to goal game to support the wingers,” Foot Mercato claims.
“Sporting director Luis Campos has thus exchanged with Tim Steiden and the discussions are considered positive, especially since West Ham has the means to match the player’s salary and the amount claimed by PSG. But it is not the only attacker tracked…
“The Hammers have already contacted the player En-Nesyri’s entourage as well as Sevilla…
“The 26-year-old striker’s transfer is not linked to that of Hugo Ekitike.”
West Ham are clearly determined to add some much-needed pace and goal threat to the team if these reports are accurate.
And they don’t come much quicker than En-Nesyri and Ekitike.
Both would help transform West Ham’s attacking threat which has become far too predictable and easy to defend against, particularly away from home.
