West Ham are lining up a shock loan move to sign Paris Saint-German ace Gini Wijnaldum in January according to a report from 90 Min.

The 31-year-old midfielder has been handed just 10 starts for PSG since joining the Ligue 1 outfit from Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer.

The 85-capped Holland international has made the PSG hierarchy aware that he is not happy with his current playing situation.

Earning £300k-a-week, Wijnaldum is currently somewhat of a deadweight at the Parc des Princes.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

And it seems as though PSG are looking for a way to get him some playing time elsewhere.

West Ham offered Gini Wijnaldum

90 Min claims that PSG have offered the Dutchman to the Hammers on loan for the rest of the season.

It is believed that Everton, Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester and Aston Villa have also been offered the 31-year-old.

So we certainly won’t have things all our own way.

What an addition Wijnaldum would be for West Ham though, if we do find a way of winning the race for his signature.

The former Liverpool midfielder possesses exceptional technical ability and he would offer David Moyes a completely different option in the middle of the park.

PSG ace Gini Wijnaldum has real energy and dynamism as well – two attributes that Moyes absolutely loves.

The 31-year-old proved during his spells with Liverpool and Newcastle how good he is.

His experience of winning and playing at the very highest level for such a sustained period of time would undoubtedly stand us in great stead as we push for success both domestically and on the continent.

The fact that he is proven at Premier League and international level means that he could make an instant impact for West Ham in January.

If Moyes manages to bring Wijnaldum to the London Stadium for the rest of the season, our top four chances will improve dramatically.
