Nikola Vlasic allegedly would have already left West Ham United on a permanent deal, if the decision was solely down to him.

Vlasic endured a disastrous spell with West Ham after moving to the London Stadium for around £25 million on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2021 (The Athletic).

The 25-year-old left the London Stadium to link up with Serie A outfit Torino on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window.

Italian publication Calciomercato claim that the Italian side have an option to buy Vlasic for just €15 million (£13.5 million) next year.

Nikola Vlasic, a 41-capped Croatia international, has already spoken out about how much he’s loving life in Turin.

The 25-year-old is obviously very comfortable with Torino, and has bagged three goals and two assists in 13 outings for his club so far (Transfermarkt).

With every week that passes, it seems like West Ham boss David Moyes has made a really bad decision and handled Vlasic terribly.

And it seems as though if the Croatian had his way, he would no longer have any ties with the Hammers whatsoever…

According to a report from Toro News, Vlasic wants his permanent exit from the London Stadium to be sealed as soon as possible.

And if it was up to him, he would have already left West Ham for Torino on a permanent deal.

One thing’s for sure, David Moyes never played him in his correct position, just in behind the striker.

Instead, Moyes chose to deploy him out on the left wing mostly – a position that renders him totally ineffective due to his lack of pace.

Nikola Vlasic is proving with Torino and Croatia that he is an exceptionally talented attacking player, and he clearly has a lot to offer at the very highest level.

It seems as though we won’t be seeing Nikola Vlasic in a West Ham shirt anymore. And the player himself is clearly keen to expedite his exit from East London on a permanent basis.
