An exciting international striker is set for West Ham talks ahead of a potential loan move in the January window.
The January transfer window is now just days away and West Ham are looking to be active.
As Hammers fans know that means moving some players out in order to get deals done.
David Moyes recently told former West Ham striker Les Ferdinand that he is on the hunt for a new forward.
Moyes then confirmed after the win over Arsenal that injuries and AFCON means he will be looking to add next month.
With Mohammed Kudus off to AFCON – possibly until mid-February – and Michail Antonio, who turns 34 in March, still out injured – West Ham need a forward for the short and long term.

Exciting international striker set for West Ham talks
And one of the long-term prospects in that position is young Northern Ireland star Callum Marshall.
Now a report claims the exciting international striker is set for West Ham talks ahead of a potential loan move.
The Belfast Telegraph is reporting that West Ham are planning to open contract talks with Northern Ireland international Marshall ahead of a possible January loan move for the striker.
Marshall’s current deal at the London Stadium runs until the end of next season after he signed professional terms just days after he turned 18 in November 2022.
Colchester United and Swindon Town are said to be two of the clubs looking to take Marshall on loan from the Hammers.

‘Decision time’ for Marshall says report
But the report claims it is not cut and dried that Marshall will sign a new deal with West Ham because of his lack of involvement in the first team despite winning three caps for Northern Ireland.
It would be a massive blow if Marshall does not put pen to paper on a new deal. There has been a worrying trend of top young stars leaving West Ham in recent years.
The club will be hoping to buck that trend by getting Marshall tied down.
Some fans feel Marshall deserves more of a chance given he is a fully fledged international and the lack of quality in depth up front.
Moyes occasionally switches Kudus and Lucas Paqueta with Jarrod Bowen to play up top.
And the Brazilian magnifico has also picked up a knee injury to expose the lack of quality in depth in the forward area.
But perhaps a loan move would be the best bet for all parties if – and only if – Marshall commits his future to the Hammers.
