The entourage of West Ham United striker target Hugo Ekitike have pleaded for a move to help his mental health.
They say there’s no smoke without fire.
And if that’s the case then West Ham definitely have an interest in signing PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike.
The Frenchman, likened to Thierry Henry and Kylian Mbappe, has been linked with a move to West Ham in every window for the last two years.
That has extended into the forthcoming January transfer window with Le Parisien claiming just this week that Ekitike could be on his way to the London Stadium next month.

Ekitike entourage plead for move to help mental health
With Mohammed Kudus off to AFCON – possibly until mid-February – and Michail Antonio, who turns 34 in March, still out injured – the Hammers need a forward. For both the short and long term.
David Moyes occasionally switches Kudus and Lucas Paqueta to play up top. And the Brazilian magnifico has also picked up a knee injury to expose the lack of quality in depth in the forward area.
Moyes confirmed after the win over Arsenal that the injuries and AFCON means he will be looking to add in the window.
So news from France overnight will very much interest the Hammers.
Because the entourage of West Ham striker target Ekitike have pleaded for a move to help his mental health.
The jet-heeled 21-year-old – who can play across the front three – has not featured for Paris Saint-Germain since a cameo appearance on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season in August.
And according to L’Équipe his entourage claim his mental health has suffered as a result.

Hammers continue to be linked with PSG outcast
“Whilst Ekitike was reticent to leave PSG in the summer, at least at such short notice, the same will not be the case in January,” it is claimed, as transcribed by GFFN.
“Ekitike has made efforts to maintain a good level of fitness and he is now willing to make an effort to leave PSG. Serie A and Bundesliga sides have shown an interest in the Frenchman, and according to L’Équipe, an official offer has even been received. The identity of the bidder is yet to be revealed.
“PSG want to sell Ekitike without making a loss, but given his lack of game time over the past 18 months, that may prove difficult.”
On his day Ekitike can be electric. And under Moyes’ guidance he could really come on leaps and bounds.
West Ham technical director Tim Steidten had a high level meeting with PSG, Ekitike and his representatives in the summer.
And the striker was reportedly impressed by what the German had to say.
So it could well be West Ham are the mystery bidder mentioned in the new report.
