David Moyes has confirmed the gravely concerning reason for the absence of West Ham star Kurt Zouma at Arsenal.
West Ham fans have been left rocked after seeing the team news for the big game at Arsenal.
Nayef Aguerd was expected to miss the Gunners clash anyway due to the after effects of a sickness bug which has been sweeping through the West Ham camp.
But there was shock when captain and key defender Kurt Zouma was nowhere to be seen.

Moyes confirms concerning reason for Zouma absence
Many presumed Zouma was the latest victim of the sickness going around Rush Green when they saw he was not in the West Ham squad.
But the manager has revealed the issue could be more serious.
David Moyes has confirmed the gravely concerning reason for absence of West Ham star Zouma at Arsenal.
Because he has felt his troublesome knee again in training and has failed a fitness test.
“Yesterday Kurt felt his knee in training,” Moyes said on Amazon Prime TV.

Hammers knee-d a new defender in January
“This morning we thought he would make it, but he wasn’t quite ready after fitness tests.
“It’s disappointing, he’s our captain and he’s played well this season. With Nayef also missing it’s a blow for us.”
That is seriously worrying with Aguerd now heading off to AFCON – possibly until mid-February.
Although Moroccan defender Aguerd may now have actually played his last game for the Hammers altogether.
One thing the Zouma injury will do is change West Ham’s priorities in the January transfer window.
Moyes and Tim Steidten must now get their heads together and sign a centre-back.
The Hammers have been linked with Harry Maguire once again as well as Notts Forest outcast Joe Worrall.
