Everton are reportedly lining up a January transfer window move to sign ex West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic.
That’s according to The Telegraph who claim that Every are eyeing up Arnautovic as a potential replacement for Anthony Gordon, should the youngster join Newcastle before the end of this month.

Everton eyeing January transfer window swoop for ex West Ham man
Marko Arnautovic is on the Merseyside club’s radar this month, should they be forced to sell Anthony Gordon to Newcastle, according to a report from The Telegraph.
I would actually like the 33-year-old back at the London Stadium right now! And that’s in spite of his acrimonious exit from the club.
Arnie forced his way out of West Ham after handing in two transfer requests, once his agent (brother) made it clear to him he was in line for a massive contract out in China.
Still, much water has passed under the bridge since then, and given our current plight, having Arnautovic back at the London Stadium might be just what we need.

It seems as though Everton have taken the lead in the race for his signature though.
The Bundesliga’s official website once described Arnautovic as an ‘outstanding’ player.
He still has the quality to make a big difference in the Premier League.
And in my opinion, if Everton win the race to sign Arnautovic in the January transfer window, it will put them in a great position to kick on and avoid relegation this season.
