Report claims West Ham want to sign £24 million Everton ace who's ready to quit Goodison

West Ham United still want to sign Moise Kean and the striker is open to the idea of leaving Everton permanently.

That’s according to a report from Corriere dello Sport (print edition Sunday June 5th, page 14) who claim that the Hammers could swoop in for the 22-year-old striker who has spent this last season on loan with Juventus.

Tuttosport claimed last month that West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bring the Italy international to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old is midway through a two-year loan deal with Juventus. The Turin giants have an obligation to buy the Italy international at the end of next season for €28 million (£24 million) according to Tuttosport.

However, Juventus are allegedly ready to trigger that obligation one year early and sign him permanently this summer before moving him on once again, having decided that he is not a part of their future plans.

And it seems as though West Ham are still in the running for Kean’s signature…

West Ham eyeing Moise Kean swoop as striker wants Everton exit

Corriere dello Sport reckon that the Hammers are interested in signing the 22-year-old Everton owned hitman.

If Juventus do take up their obligation to buy Kean a year early and then try to flog him for a profit, it seems as though West Ham could be the club to take a punt on the Italian.

We believe that the Italian could be a very good signing for the Hammers.

Kean possesses real pace and seems to be tailor made for this West Ham team.

He has been described as a sensational talent by talkSPORT.

The one problem is the fee needed to sign him. If Juventus sign Kean for £24 million they will obviously want to move him on for at least that amount.

That means that West Ham will have to take a huge risk by signing the Everton-owned striker.

And for that reason, we just can’t see this one happening in the summer.
