Arthur Theate allegedly wants to join West Ham United from Italian side Bologna in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that the 22-year-old could be available for around €10 million (£8 million).

David Moyes clearly needs to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium before the start of next season.
Angelo Ogbonna has been out since November with an ACL injury. Meanwhile, Craig Dawson is now 32 and the jury is still very much out on Issa Diop.

Signing a left-footed centre-back will be absolutely vital for Moyes. The name doing the rounds at the moment is Nayef Aguerd and the Rennes ace is closing in on a move to West Ham by all accounts (The Daily Mail).
However, it seems as though Moyes could bolster his centre-back ranks even further still…
Arthur Theate wants to join West Ham
Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that the two-capped Belgium international is keen to join the Hammers in an £8 million deal this summer.
We think that Theate would actually be a smart addition for West Ham for just £8 million.
In 31 Serie A games for Bologna this seasons, the 22-year-old bagged two goals and one assist. During those appearances, Theate has averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and two clearances per match (Who Scored).

The defender made 46.6 passes per match and recorded a completion rate of 83.7% (Who Scored).
He is left-footed and can also operate at left-back. So it’s clear to see why Moyes would want to sign him.
The Belgian stands at 6ft 1in tall, is good with the ball at his feet and is quick along the ground.
The Hammers signing the Bologna ace for £8 million seems like an absolute no brainer. Let’s just hope that Moyes manages to get it done and dusted, as well as the Aguerd deal.
And with the news breaking that Arthur Theate wants to join West Ham, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to get this one wrapped up fairly quickly.
