Central midfield is obviously an area at the London Stadium where David Moyes needs to strengthen in the summer transfer window.
Mark Noble has retired whilst Alex Kral will almost certainly be sent back to Spartak Moscow after a shocking loan spell in East London.
West Ham have already been linked with a plethora of central midfielders and Bayern Munich ace Tolisso is one of the most interesting ones of the lot.
The Hammers could pick him up for absolutely nothing now as well…
West Ham target Tolisso confirms Bayern exit
The 27-year-old’s deal with Bayern Munich has now officially come to an end:
A World Cup winner with France and a Champions League and four-time Bundesliga winner with Bayern, Tolisso is a truly top class player.
Tolisso can play in the orthodox central midfield role, in the number 10 position and in the deep-lying holding role.
He has exceptional vision and plays with a real kind of energy and enthusiasm that Moyes would really love.
If there’s any chance of getting this one done, the Hammers really shouldn’t hesitate. The Frenchman can play in a whole host of roles so would provide great cover for multiple positions at the London Stadium.
West Ham signing Tolisso on a free transfer would be exceptional business from the East London outfit.
