West Ham have apparently made a £10 million bid for Thilo Kehrer, with Paris Saint-Germain holding out for closer to £17 million.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that Hammers boss David Moyes is very keen to bring the 25-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham desperately need to bring a new centre-back in before the transfer window closes, and preferably before our clash with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Kehrer is a man who allegedly has been on the Hammers radar for a few days now.
Nayef Aguerd is out injured for the foreseeable future whilst Angelo Ogbonna is nowhere near match fit. Meanwhile, Issa Diop has left the London Stadium to join Fulham.

The need for a new central defender is now urgent, which makes the Hammers’ haggling over a fee for Kehrer incredibly frustrating…
West Ham make low-ball Thilo Kehrer bid
The Daily Mail reckon that the Hammers have lodged a £10 million bid for the 20-capped Germany international – £7 million short of what PSG are demanding for him.
The West Ham owners need to realise that these low-ball bids will not get things done this summer. They’ve put their money where their mouths are so far this summer but are in danger of destroying all of that good work by reverting to their old ways.
GSB just need to get this one done as soon as possible so that the 25-year-old is able to play against Forest this weekend.
What a signing the German would be for West Ham. He can operate in either full-back positions as well!
Kehrer is absolutely rapid and is one of Germany’s fastest players according to Sport Mob. When he was at Schalke, the Bundesliga’s official website described him as a potentially ‘world-class’ player.
He’s a three time league winner, having enjoyed great success at Parc des Princes.

The 25-year-old is an exceptional passer of the football as well.
In 27 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, he made an average of 43.1 passes per match and recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of 94.7% (Who Scored).
Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Kehrer isn’t the tallest of centre-backs, but he possesses an incredible leap, similar to that of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.
The German’s ability to play in a variety of defensive positions will obviously appeal to David Moyes.
West Ham should just pay what Paris Saint-Germain want for Thilo Kehrer. He’s more than worth £17 million.
