West Ham United are allegedly now interested in signing Manchester United central defender Eric Bailly this summer.
That’s according to a report from the The Daily Mail who claim that Manchester united would prefer to sell Bailly to West Ham, rather than loan him out.

United signed the 28-year-old from Villarreal in 2016 for around £30m (BBC). And the Red Devils are allegedly now prepared to sell him for just £7 million (Calcio Mercato).

Bailly is an Ivory Coast international and knows West Ham star Maxwel Cornet very well indeed.
Nayef Aguerd is currently out injured whilst Angelo Ogbonna is nowhere near fully fit. Meanwhile, Issa Diop is closing in on a move to Fulham.
Signing a top-class centre-back before the transfer window closes will be vital for Moyes and it seems as though he has his eye on someone in particular…
West Ham eyeing Eric Bailly swoop
The Daily Mail reckon that Moyes wants the 28-year-old Man United defender at the London Stadium this summer.
We would love to see the Ivory Coast international join the Hammers.
Despite struggling for Manchester United at times, he’s still a very good player and has all of the attributes needed to succeed at the very highest level.
The Sun recently described Bailly as a ‘brilliant’ defender and on his day, he is certainly one of the very best around.

The 28-year-old stands at 6ft 2in tall, is strong in the air and in the challenge and is very quick along the ground.
One word of warning is that he lacks concentration sometimes but who knows, perhaps that’s because he needs a fresh start under a new manager.
£7 million for a player with Bailly’s quality seems like a fantastic bargain.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United would sell the Ivorian to a direct Premier League rival for that kind of money though.
Let’s hope that Moyes manages to bring Eric Bailly to West Ham this summer. We think he’d be a great addition at the London Stadium.
