West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini is an alleged summer transfer target for Turkish giants Besiktas.
That’s according to a report from Turkish publication Fanatik who claim that signing Manuel Lanzini is the main goal for Besiktas this summer.

The 29-year-old Argentinian ace actually returned to somewhere near his best for the Hammers last season, having spent a few years in the doldrums after suffering a serious knee injury in 2018.
The season kind of fizzled out with a bit of a whimper for both Lanzini and West Ham though.

David Moyes sacrificed him in order to bring Ben Johnson on, after Aaron Cresswell was sent-off against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League semi-final second-leg.
It was a case of needs must for Moyes but it still would have hurt Manu.
And it seems as though Lanzini could be exit-bound this summer…
West Ham ace Manuel Lanzini a transfer target for Besiktas
According to a report from Fanatik, Besiktas want to sign the Argentina international.
And the Hammers allegedly could sell Lanzini for around €12 million (£10 million).
Lanzini is a hugely popular figure at the London Stadium. He really does seem to love the club and the fans love him as well.

The Argentinian joined the Hammers on loan from Al Jazira in the summer of 2015. He then made his move to West Ham a permanent one the following year for around £8 million (ESPN).
Perhaps his time with West Ham is coming to an end though.
The South American has repeatedly shared his desire to return him to his boyhood club River Plate, most recently in January of this year, when speaking to TyC Sports:
“River are an institution that has nothing to envy the big clubs in Europe. They treated my entire group very well, we did well too. Obviously it makes you want to return to a club of River’s magnitude and above with the plus that is Gallardo.”
Lanzini has been with West Ham since 2015/16 season. He’s one of the few players we have remaining who actually played at Upton Park. So moving him on would obviously be a hugely emotional decision to make for everyone involved with the club and the player himself.
It kind of feels like it could happen though.
However, if West Ham do sell Manuel Lanzini, David Moyes had better have a replacement lined up to come immediately.
