Mikel Arteta is clearly concerned about the lack of depth that he has at his disposal in the middle of the park though.
Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey are both currently out injured and a deadline day move to sign a central midfielder has been mooted.

Piers Morgan believes that Arsenal should be going for West Ham ace Declan Rice…
Arsenal urged to break the bank for West Ham ace Declan Rice
The famous Gunners supporter took to Twitter today and urged the club’s owners to go big and splash the cash on Rice on deadline day:
Rice has matured into one of the very best defensive midfielders in world football, if not the best.
The sky’s the limit for the 23-year-old and keeping him at the London Stadium will be one of the most important tasks at hand for David Moyes over the the course of the next 12 months or so.
Dec is close to being a world-class player and it could actually agued that he already is.
Rice would take Arsenal to another level.

Here’s the thing though Piers, the 23-year-old is going nowhere today, and certainly won’t be joining Arsenal!
Selling Declan Rice on transfer deadline day would be unthinkable for West Ham manager Moyes.
And as long as the board continue to back the Scot in the transfer market, there is no reason why we can’t keep Dec at the London Stadium for the foreseeable future
