Newcastle United are now trying to sign yet another West Ham target claims transfer reporter Dharmesh Sheth on Sky Sports.
A recent report summed up how many West Ham fans are feeling about Newcastle right now when the Magpies’ interest in a series of David Moyes targets was described as ‘obsessive’.
It is certainly easy to see why.

Newcastle reportedly made an 11th hour bid to hijack West Ham’s £30m West Ham deal with Rennes for Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd last week.
On signing for the Hammers, Aguerd revealed he had been advised to choose the east Londoners by a Premier League hero.
West Ham were already busy trying to fight off Newcastle in order to get on loan goalkeeper Alphonse Areola signed up to a permanent deal.

The Hammers and Newcastle have also reportedly been locked in transfer battles over Jesse Lingard, Sven Botman and Hugo Ekitike in recent months.
In January both clubs were also said to be vying for Diego Carlos – who has since signed for Aston Villa.
Well it seems Eddie Howe’s obsession with West Ham’s recruitment plans is not fading anytime soon.

Because Newcastle are now trying to sign yet another West Ham target claims transfer reporter Dharmesh Sheth on Sky Sports.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a £25 million move for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.
The Mirror (print edition June 12th, page 72) claim the Hammers could swoop for the wide attacker, who can also play as a forward.

West Ham insiders speaking to Claret and Hugh claim Moyes is genuinely interested in Sarr – as well as his teammate Emmanuel Dennis.
Journalist Daniel Moroney, who covers Watford news for the likes of Back Page Football, has claimed that West Ham are ‘leading the race’ to sign the Senegal international.
But now it seems Newcastle want to hijack yet another Hammers target if Sheth’s latest Sky Sports transfer update is accurate.
“Right winger, I think, is a priority position for Newcastle this summer…” Sheth said on Sky Sports News.
“Newcastle don’t want to pay over the odds for players…
“I think they are also looking at Ismaila Sarr from Watford who would be much cheaper than (reported Newcastle target) Moussa Diaby.
“I think Watford would probably be willing to do business, they’ve been relegated back to the Championship, he’ll be on high wages so I think it could be a possible deal that could work for all parties.”

Newcastle could actually be doing West Ham a big favour here, though.
Hammers News spoke to our man in the know at Watford over the weekend, Anthony Simmonds.
And in an in-depth assessment of Sarr – and teammate Dennis – he very much warned West Ham about signing the pair.
