Ukraine manager Oleksandr Petrakov has hinted that Andriy Yarmolenko wants to leave West Ham in January, when speaking to iSport.

The 32-year-old Hammers attacker faces an uncertain future under David Moyes at the London Stadium.

Yarmolenko has been given just 52 minutes Premier League action this season.

The Ukraine international has made five starts for West Ham but they have all come in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup and he’s bagged just one goal.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Yarmo has already been linked with an exit from the London Stadium in January with Genoa boss Andriy Shevchenko said to be keen to bring him to Serie A (Pianeta Genoa).

And it seems as though the former Borussia Dortmund and Dinamo Kyiv attacker could be on his way out of the club in January.

Andriy Yarmolenko pushing to leave West Ham in January?

It seems that that could very well be the case.

He’s out of contract with the Hammers in the summer of 2023 and is barely playing. So it would be no surprise if Yarmo does want to leave next month.

His national team manager Oleksandr Petrakov hinted that that is exactly what the 32-year-old left-footed right winger wants in January, when speaking to iSport:

“The coach (Moyes) does not play him. Andriy is a very serious person. When I asked him for the first time why he didn’t play for his club, he told me that there was a window coming up and that he asked to play for the U23s. A person with such experience is not shy and goes to play with the youngsters. I can’t call Moyes and ask why Andrei isn’t playing. It’s none of my business. I can’t interfere in club affairs.

An exit from the London Stadium for Yarmolenko would be the ideal outcome for all parties involved.

Getting the Ukrainian’s massive wages off the books will be hugely important for David Moyes in January. Managing to get some kind of fee for him meanwhile, would be an absolute miracle!

Yarmo absolutely has to leave West Ham in order to salvage his flagging career.
