West Ham allegedly now face strong competition from Leeds for the signing of Morocco World Cup star Azzedine Ounahi.
talkSPORT claim that Leeds are one of the clubs challenging the Hammers for the 22-year-old Angers SCO midfielder’s signature in the January transfer window.
With Jesse Marsch reportedly keen to bring him to Elland Road though, Moyes will have his work cut-out.

Ounahi was a real star of the World Cup for Morocco out in Qatar, so it’s little wonder why so many Premier League clubs are interested in acquiring his services…
Leeds now challenging West Ham for World Cup star
talkSPORT have claimed that the Whites are keen to sign the Angers ace this winter.
And that is really bad news for the Hammers, because he would be the perfect addition to our ranks at the London Stadium.
David Moyes absolutely cannot afford to miss out on the midfielder.
Ounahi really put himself on the map with a succession of stunning displays for Morocco out in Qatar.
The Morocco international is a central midfielder by trade, but can also operate further forward or even in the deep-lying role.
He has energy in abundance, is a tenacious tackler and a relentless presser.

The Moroccan still has plenty that he can improve on. If he continues to work hard, applies himself properly both on and off the pitch and is a willing learner, he could very well become an elite top-level footballer.
If Leeds beat West Ham to the signing of World Cup star Azzedine Ounahi, it will be a really big blow for us in my opinion.
Let’s just hope that Moyes and the Hammers board pull out all the stops to pip Leeds to the 22-year-old’s signature.
