West Ham won’t be going back in with another bid for Torino right-back Ola Aina on deadline day.
The 25-year-old has been named in Torino’s starting XI against Atalanta tonight, bringing an end to the Hammers’ pursuit of him, according to The Evening Standard.

David Moyes has been a really busy man in the transfer market already this summer.

The Scot has signed eight new players so far, including two centre-backs, a defensive midfielder, a left winger, a centre-forward, a midfield play-maker, a left wing-back and a goalkeeper.
However, it seems as though Moyes is far from finished in his player recruitment, with deadline day now upon us.
It seems as though Aina won’t be our 9th signing this summer though…
West Ham won’t be signing Ola Aina
The Evening Standard reckon that the Hammers will not be going back in with another bid for the 25-year-old.
We have to say, we’re not too bothered by this.
Aina would have been a decent signing for West Ham, but not a great one. And we certainly shouldn’t have been paying too much more than £7 million for him.

The 17-capped Nigeria international is strong, quick along the ground and is also a very good defender.
There are better options out there for West Ham and David Moyes for sure.
The Scot will be better off keeping his powder dry until January or next summer.
Torino were believed to be demanding around €10 million (£8.5 million) for the Nigeria international (Goal).
And West Ham failing to sign Ola Aina this summer is no bad thing as far as we’re concerned.
