West Ham United have allegedly just had a bid rejected for ex-Chelsea right-back Ola Aina on transfer deadline day.
That’s according to Sky Sports presenter Jasper Taylor who broke the news live on air at 3:41pm this afternoon.

Harrison Ashby is closing in on a move to Newcastle. So Moyes will be desperate to add more competition to his right-back ranks before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

And it seems as though the Scot has one man in particular in mind…
West Ham make Ola Aina bid
Sky Sports presenter Jasper Taylor broke the news at 3:41pm today, live on air:
“West Ham have had a bid rejected for Torino right-back Ola Ain. The offer was €8million (£7 million), €4 million plus €4 million in add-ons. West Ham are deciding whether to go back in with a new offer as we speak.”
We think that this would be a decent one to get over the line for the Hammers today.
In spite of that, we still think there are far more exciting options out there for Moyes to pursue.
The 25-year-old joined Torino from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 for around £9 million (Goal).

So West Ham will surely have to at least offer double figures if we are to sign Aina on deadline day.
The 17-capped Nigeria international is strong, quick along the ground and is also a very good defender.
£10 million would be a fair price to pay for the former Chelsea man in my opinion. Anything more than that though, and the Hammers should be looking elsewhere.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham go in with another bid for Ola Aina.
