West Ham making a late move to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea before transfer deadline day is still very much on.
That’s according to football journalist Paul Brown who claims that the Hammers are still very much keeping an eye on the 20-year-old Chelsea striker.

Southampton and Everton are said to be closely monitoring Broja’s current situation as well.
David Moyes has already brought Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium this summer.

But that doesn’t mean that the Scot doesn’t want to sign Broja as well.
And the latest whispers suggest that the Albanian is still a target for the Hammers…
West Ham still in for Armando Broja
Football journalist Paul Brown has told Give Me Sport that Broja is a target for the Hammers:
“I’m pretty certain that West Ham, Everton, Southampton, probably some others, are all still waiting to see what happens with Broja. There is a little window there, a crack open, for those clubs, and I think they suspect that he might still push to leave before the transfer window shuts.”
The Sun journalist Tom Barclay recently told Give Me Sport that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will demand at least £40 million for the young forward this summer.
We can’t see the Hammers board paying that kind of money for Broja. Perhaps £30 million would be doable through.
And can you imagine the scenes if Moyes brings Broja to the London Stadium to partner Scamacca this summer?? Wow.
We would love the 20-year-old Chelsea ace at the club.
He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.
Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.
The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.
The striker absolutely tore the Hammers apart last season, bagging one goal and one assist in three appearances against us. He gave our defenders nightmares and was a total menace to our back line during all three clashes.
It’s easy to forget at times that the Albania international is just 20-years-old-old! It’s not often that someone of that age bags nine goals in a season.
He really does seem to be a very special talent.
And we’d absolutely love it if West Ham manage to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea before the transfer window slams shut.
