The Germany international looked cool and composed on Thursday night against Viborg, however, and was top-class once again today for West Ham away at Aston Villa.

The 25-year-old German seems to have struck up a superb partnership with Kurt Zouma at the heart of the Hammers’ defence.
And he really was an absolute rock at Villa Park today.

Kehrer had 57 touches, made two tackles, two interceptions and five clearances against Villa today (Who Scored).
The German made 41 passes and recorded a completion rate of 85.4% (Who Scored).
Kehrer’s recovery pace really was so impressive. And that enables us to set our stall out further up the pitch.
Let’s hope to see much more from Kehrer in this form over the next few weeks and months.
