Jack Rosser makes Maxwel Cornet medical claim, shares whether he'll feature against Manchester City

Jack Rosser has claimed that the final part of the Maxwel Cornet medical should be done tomorrow morning as West Ham close in on the Ivorian.

Rosser has suggested that Cornet probably won’t feature against Manchester City in the Hammers’ Premier League opener, however.

West Ham boss David Moyes is closing in on the 25-year-old Burnley ace.

Reports emerged earlier today that the Hammers had a bid for Cornet accepted by Burnley and had agreed personal terms with the Ivory Coast international.

The pacy winger should be an exceptional addition for the East London outfit. Hopefully the I’s are dotted and the T’s crossed by tomorrow. It seems as though even if that’s the case though, Cornet won’t be featuring against City…

Maxwel Cornet medical should be done and dusted soon

Jack Rosser has claimed that the Ivory Coast international will complete the second part of his medical tomorrow morning ahead of a move to West Ham.

The 25-year-old will allegedly put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the London Stadium:

That’s great news for West Ham.

The fact that he probably won’t feature against Man City will matter little in the grand scheme of things. We’re just thankful that it seems as though the deal for the Hammers to sign Cornet is all but done.

We believe that the Burnley speed demon will be a sensational signing for West Ham.

He’s one of the quickest forwards in the Premier League and can operate on either wing or at left-back.

Cornet can even play as a striker if need be!

The 29-capped Ivory Coast international is aggressive, direct and loves running at opposing defenders.

West Ham have struggled without any real pace in our team over the past year or so. Michail Antonio has definitely lost half a yard.

The Premier League is built on power and pace nowadays. The Burnley star has been described as an ‘explosive player’ by ESPN pundit Ale Moreno. Meanwhile, Last Word on Sports label Cornet as an ‘amazing’ dribbler.

With the Maxwel Cornet medical scheduled to be completed tomorrow, it surely won’t be too long before we see him playing in the famous Claret and Blue of West Ham United.
