Huge boost for West Ham as Giacomo Raspadori hands in transfer request

West Ham have been handed a huge boost with the news that Sassuolo ace Giacomo Raspadori has handed in a transfer request.

That’s according to a report from Sky Italia who claim that the 22-year-old forward has asked to leave the Serie A outfit this summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes is keen to bring the Italian to the London Stadium this summer (Calciomercato).

And it was recently reported that the Hammers were prepared to pay around £26 million to sign Raspadori.

West Ham have already raided Sassuolo once this summer. David Moyes brought Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium last week.

And it seems as though the Hammers have a chance to sign another top-class forward form the Serie A side…

West Ham target Giacomo Raspadori could be set for exit

The 22-year-old forward has handed in a transfer request according to a report from Sky Italia.

We think that Moyes shouldn’t hesitate to bring him to the club.

Raspadori bagged 10 goals and six assists in 36 Serie A games for Sassuolo last season (Transfermarkt).

Those goal involvements came mostly when operating in the number 10 role but he played all across the front-line at different times throughout the season.

Raspadori has plenty of pace, is highly energetic and has a keen eye for goal as well as a killer pass. Raspadori said in September that he is very much like Sergio Aguero in playing style.

And we think that West Ham should make a £26 million bid for the Italian.

Moyes definitely needs to make further attacking reinforcements if we are to enjoy success on all fronts this season, in spite of the recent addition of Scamacca.

Giacomo Raspadori handing in a transfer request should help West Ham do just that.

And surely Scamacca can put in a good word for us!
