West Ham United have been linked with a new move for Wolves attacker Adama Traore.
West Ham had the chance to sign Traore for around £5m when he was at Middlesbrough.
Back in June 2018, with Traore struggling to impress for ‘Boro in the Championship – a familiar tale from his time at Aston Villa – the star was linked with a move to West Ham.

Hammers could have signed Traore for £5m during Middlesbrough days
It was literally a footnote on The Daily Mail’s transfer story about Traore’s then Boro teammate Ben Gibson.
Interest in Traore was nothing new, though. He had been linked with West Ham for the two previous transfer windows back to the summer of 2017.
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee revealed the Hammers had ‘re-opened’ negotiations with Boro for Traore back in January of that year.
Now West Ham have made a new enquiry for the Wolves and Spain attacker according to a report from Football Insider.
Some West Ham fans have been baffled by the new links to Traore.

New West Ham link to Wolves powerhouse
But many Hammers supporters are excited by the prospect of Moyes getting his hands on another inconsistent winger and potentially turning him into a striker.
Moyes has an excellent track record on that front as he has proved with Marko Arnautovic and Michail Antonio.
But it appears West Ham fans should not get too hopeful.
That’s if the verdict from inside the club is anything to go by.

Insiders claim club has said emphatic ‘no’ to Traore links
According to Claret and Hugh, a source high up at West Ham has emphatically responded to the Traore reports.
“Reports that David Moyes has Wolves winger Adama Traore on his summer transfer window wish list are claimed to be untrue by the club,” Claret and Hugh state.
“However, when we contacted our own insider at the London Stadium we were given an emphatic ‘no’ in response to the report.
“We can understand that whilst Traore could be seen in a similar light to Mikey (Antonio) the reality is that there is no interest in the player – certainly as things stand.”
And is this why new West Ham ‘Argentina’ away kit has much criticised white block?
