West Ham United are allegedly ‘ready and waiting’ to table a £30 million bid for talented Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

That’s according to club insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that the 20-year-old has been left out of Chelsea’s pre-season tour to America.

Armando Broja is clearly the number one transfer target for Hammers boss David Moyes this summer.

However, the Scot’s chance of bringing the 14-capped Albania international to the London Stadium will depend heavily on Chelsea’s willingness to let him leave Stamford Bridge.

With Broja missing out on the Blues’ pre-season trip to America, it does seem like West Ham have a very good chance to sign him this summer.

And it appears as though the Hammers are ready to make a concrete move for the 20-year-old Chelsea hitman…

West Ham ready to make bid for Chelsea striker

Claret and Hugh reckons that the Hammers are ‘ready and waiting’ to table a £30 million bid for Armando Broja.

That probably won’t be enough to get a deal done for the centre-forward though.

Chelsea could demand as much as €70 million (£60 million) for Broja this summer according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb. Meanwhile, Football Insider claim that the centre-forward may cost around £50 million this summer.

Perhaps £40 million will be a fair price for Broja.

The Chelsea ace would be more than worth that kind of fee, that’s for certain.

Moyes should be doing everything in his power to bring the absolute unit of a striker to the club this summer.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.

And if West Ham do table a bid for Chelsea striker Broja, let’s hope that it’s not a derisory one because that will do nobody any good at all.
