The agent of Alberth Elis has insisted that the striker will definitely leave Bordeaux this summer amidst strong links with West Ham.
Alberth Elis is ‘obviously’ set to leave the crisis-stricken French club this summer according to his agent Daniel Solis.

Signing a top-class striker will obviously be the main priority for Moyes now after having already strengthened his centre-back, central midfield and goalkeeping departments at the London Stadium this summer.
Michail Antonio has done a brilliant job for West Ham over the past couple of years but to expect him to be our only centre-forward once again next season is not only unrealistic but it’s unfair on him.

The 32-year-old is absolutely crying out for some competition and cover.
And it seems as though Moyes has a great chance to bring in someone perfect for that specific job before the start of the new season…
Agent offers West Ham hope in Elis chase
The 56-capped Honduras international’s agent Daniel Solis has been speaking to Diario Diaz about his client’s future with Bordeaux.
And the comments from Solis should be music to the ears of West Ham boss Moyes:
“It is obvious that Elis is going to leave Bordeaux. They are talking to many clubs. And the player and his family are very calm, analysing everything offer that comes. We know what options there are but we have to choose a very good one. There is no rush.”
The problem for West Ham is that Leeds allegedly want to sign Elis as well (Diario Diaz). So we will have our work cut out in the race for his signature, that’s for sure.

Elis’s agent making comments like the ones above should be all that West Ham need to make a move to sign him.
We believe that for £10 million, he would be a great addition for the Hammers.
Now, the Honduran isn’t an out and out striker. He is actually a winger by trade, although he can operate through the middle as a centre-forward.
Elis was in fine form for Boavista in the 2020/21 season. He racked up eight goals and seven assists in 31 league games (Transfermarkt).
This season just gone, he has bagged nine goals and one assist in 20 games for Bordeaux during a loan spell with the French side (Transfermarkt).
The Honduran possesses blistering pace and plays with a certain kind of directness that could make him a real asset for West Ham.
And it was the 26-year-old’s blistering pace that initially attracted West Ham according to L’Equipe. Bordeaux director Admar Lopes described Elis as an ‘incredible’ striker with ‘explosive power’ (Leeds Live).
£10 million for the Boavista man does seem like very good value indeed.
And following Elis’s agent admitting that the striker will be on his way this summer, West Ham should not hesitate to swoop in for him.
