West Ham United allegedly could make a move to sign centre-back Michael Keane from Everton in the January transfer window.
That’s according to football journalist Dean Jones who told Inside Futbol that the Everton defender would be a typical ‘West Ham signing’.
Hammers boss David Moyes undoubtedly needs to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium this winter.
Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson are 34 and 32 respectively, whilst the latter is being heavily linked with en exit from the club.
Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma continues to really struggle with injuries.

It seems as though Moyes is well aware of the need to strengthen in central defence. His choice of target does seem like a really strange one though…
West Ham eyeing move to sign Michael Keane from Everton
Football Insider recently claimed that Moyes wants to bring the Toffees centre-back to the London Stadium from Goodison Park for around £10 million in January.
West Ham actually had a bid rejected for him in the summer, according to reports. And it now seems as though Moyes is going back in to try his luck again.
Dean Jones has told Inside Futbol that it would not surprise him one little bit if West Ham try to sign the Everton defender in the January transfer window:
It feels like a very West Ham signing, so it doesn’t surprise me at all and he is certainly somebody that they have looked at before so I could definitely see this.

There are so many better defenders available out there. I thought Moyes didn’t like signing players for the sake of it? I thought he’d prefer to wait further down the line to get a player he actually wants rather than just put a band aid over the wound so to speak?
Signing Keane from Everton would be the epitome of a panic buy.
The 29-year-old is slow and cumbersome and really is very poor when in possession of the football.
He is strong in the air and the tackle but his skillset is limited to say the least.
West Ham signing Michael Keane from Everton in the January transfer window would be incredibly underwhelming. And in my opinion, it would represent a real backward step for the Hammers.
