Chelsea have allegedly made contact with Manchester City to sign long-term West Ham United target Oleksandr Zinchenko.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that Chelsea have actually held talks with the versatile 25-year-old Ukraine international.

With Chelsea making their move though, it could well be curtains for West Ham’s hopes of signing the Manchester City star.
David Moyes and Thomas Tuchel are both expected to be very busy men in the transfer market this summer.

Moyes will have to be slightly more thrifty than Tuchel with his player recruitment though. Chelsea have far greater spending power than the Hammers and can also offer potential new signings the chance to play in the Champions League.
And West Ham may well be blown out the water in the race to sign the Man City star…
Hammer blow for West Ham as Chelsea make contract to sign Zinchenko
The Daily Mail reckon that the Blues have held talks with the Ukraine international.
So it may well just be a matter of time before Tuchel brings the West Ham target to west London.
The Man City ace has been described as ‘unplayable’ by TEAMtalk.
Zinchenko is excellent in possession and poses a real threat going forward but he is a very solid defender at the same time.

The technical ability of the 25-year-old is second to none and his winning mentality would really add something extra to the West Ham squad.
He is highly energetic and has proven for a sustained period of time that he is perfectly suited to the intense nature of Premier League football.
90min reckon that Manchester City want at least £30 million for the Ukraine international. In our view, that’s great value for Zinchenko.
It seems as though West Ham could be set to miss out on him this summer though.
If Chelsea have indeed made contract to sign the Man City man, there is every chance that he will be heading to Stamford Bridge this summer. What a shame that will be if that happens.
