West Ham are tracking Manchester City ace Oleksandr Zinchenko but it will take an ‘attractive offer’ to tempt the Premier League champions into selling.
That’s according to a report from Foot Mercato who claim that Pep Guardiola would only be tempted to sell the Ukraine international if the Hammers stump up some serious cash.
The Mirror reported last week that West Ham manager David Moyes is prepared to give Zinchenko exactly what he wants – the opportunity to play in central midfield.
Central midfield is certainly an area at the London Stadium where the Hammers need to strengthen this summer. Moyes needs to bolster his left-back ranks as well.
So it’s easy to see why Zinchenko might be a transfer target for West Ham…
West Ham need to make attractive offer to sign Zinchenko
Foot Mercato reckon that the Manchester City star is available this summer but only if an ‘attractive offer’ comes in for his services.
Whether the West Ham owners will be prepared to make a big money offer for the Ukrainian remains to be seen. We really should be pushing the boat out for him though…
Zinchenko would be a truly incredible addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
The Man City ace has been described as ‘unplayable’ by TEAMtalk.
Zinchenko is excellent in possession and poses a real threat going forward but he is a very solid defender at the same time.
The technical ability of the 25-year-old is second to none and his winning mentality would really add something extra to the West Ham squad.
He is highly energetic and has proven for a sustained period of time that he is perfectly suited to the intense nature of Premier League football.
90min reckon that Manchester City want at least £30 million for the Ukraine international. In our view, that’s great value for the 25-year-old.
And if West Ham do make a substantial offer for Zinchenko, Man City boss Pep Guardiola may allow the Ukrainian ace to leave the Etihad.
