Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has lifted the lid on whether linked-away star Nayef Aguerd wants out of West Ham.
The January transfer window is well and truly whirring into life for West Ham.
And the first order of service for the Hammers is to ship players out in order to make space in the squad and satisfy FFP rules.
Before the Arsenal win we reported on Hammers News that defender Nayef Aguerd may have played his last game for West Ham.
As revealed in our report, Aguerd did indeed miss the Arsenal game with illness reported as the reason. And he then met up with the Morocco squad for AFCON thus missing the game against Brighton.
Speculation has intensified that he could leave the Hammers in the January window.

Aguerd has proved wildly inconsistent for West Ham since arriving from Rennes for £30m 18 months ago.
According to a report from L’Equipe, the soon-to-be 28-year-old defender is being targeted by Lyon this month.
And he is also once again reportedly being eyed by clubs in mega rich Saudi Arabia following an alleged approach in the summer.
Realistically Aguerd does represent a better bet for West Ham in terms of raising a sizeable chunk of cash compared to the club’s clutch of fringe players.
There are also conflicting – and unverified – rumours that Aguerd may be pushing for a move away.
Now Fabrizio Romano has lifted the lid on whether linked-away star Aguerd wants out of West Ham.

The Italian transfer reporter has confirmed there is indeed interest from Saudi clubs as well as AC Milan and Roma.
But he revealed the Serie A sides can’t meet West Ham’s fee for a permanent move.
Romano also states that Aguerd is happy to stay in the Premier League with the Hammers.
“Saudi clubs have approached West Ham for Nayef Aguerd, as (Sky Sports reporter) Dharmesh Sheth called,” Romano said.
“AS Roma and AC Milan have also made enquiries but financially not possible as West Ham will NOT accept loan proposals.
“Aguerd, very happy in Premier League.”
That tallies with our report on comments from a West Ham insider yesterday in which it was claimed David Moyes is reluctant to lose Aguerd unless he recoups the original £30m outlay and can bring in a quality replacement.
