West Ham United have now completed their first January transfer window deal according to Fabrizio Romano.
David Moyes will be a busy man in the January transfer window, and Fabrizio Romano has provided an update for the West Ham fans.
The Hammers boss obviously needs to make some signings, but clearing out some of the deadwood will be important as well.
Thilo Kehrer is someone who has been heavily linked with a London Stadium exit this winter, and it now seems like the German is definitely on his way out of the club.

The German has been really disappointing for West Ham since joining us from PSG in the summer of 2022.
So an exit from the Hammers this winter is the best outcome for all parties involved…
Fabrizio Romano gives ‘Here we go’ on first West Ham January transfer
The well-renowned Italian journalist took to X this morning to provide an update on Kehrer’s potential move to Monaco.
Well, it seems like it’s a done deal, with Kehrer joining Monaco on a £400k loan deal, with the French club having an obligation to buy the 27-year-old for around £9.5 million at the end of the season:
I have to say, that’s a pretty good deal for us. Kehrer really hasn’t contributed one little bit for the Hammers this season.
For West Ham to pretty much recoup the fee that we paid for the Germany international has to go down as fantastic business.
Kehrer is obviously a decent defender on his day but he’s painfully ill-suited to Premier League football, what with his rash decision making and poor positional awareness.
Fabrizio Romano giving the ‘Here we go’ on the Kehrer to Monaco transfer is great news for us as far as I’m concerned.
I wish him the best of luck in Ligue 1 but at the same time, I’m pleased that we’ve got rid of him for a seemingly very good price. I reckon he is a much better fit to Ligue 1 than he is the Premier League.
