West Ham United are now eyeing up moves to sign two new forwards after securing a loan deal for Kalvin Phillips.

Kalvin Phillips has joined West Ham on loan for the remainder of the season, but David Moyes is far from finished with his January transfer window business it seems.

The Hammers manager is on the cusp of having a squad ready to challenge for the top six, if not the top four.

For that to happen though, the Scot needs to bring in a top-class attacker, a right-back and a centre-back. It now seems as though he might be addressing the first issue on that list.

According to the Daily Mail (print edition January 26th, page 68), Moyes is eyeing up moves for two forwards – Ibrahim Osman and one other unnamed player.

Osman, 19, would be a hugely exciting addition, but Moyes is seemingly on the hunt for even more.

Whilst we are apparently in talks with Nordsjaelland about signing the young Ghanaian winger, the Mail claim that Moyes wants another attacker as well.

Jota is someone we’ve been heavily linked with this month, so perhaps the 24-year-old is the man who Moyes could bring to the London Stadium.

I have to be honest, if the Hammers get deals over the line for Osman and someone like Jota, whilst shipping out Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma, we’ll be in great shape heading into the second half of the season.

We already have a stellar attacking line up, but Moyes has limited options off the bench, and Osman and Jota would definitely help in that regard.

West Ham have already sealed a top-class signing by bringing Kalvin Phillips to the London Stadium, but it seems as though even more exciting new additions could be heading our way.
