Do West Ham want to replace ageing star Lukasz Fabianski with a free agent who’s 6 years younger after a shock David de Gea claim?
Everything is going brilliantly at West Ham so far this season after the summer rebuild overseen by David Moyes and Tim Steidten.
But one Hammers man is unhappy and he has not been shy in admitting it.
Lukasz Fabianski has been an amazing servant for West Ham and arguably the best £7.5m the club has spent – along with Michail Antonio – in the modern era.

A model of consistency and by all accounts a model professional, Fabianski has been our number one without rival since joining from Swansea back in 2018.
Until now.
Alphonse Areola was made West Ham’s number one this season with Fabianski now the club’s cup and European goalkeeper.
Turning 39 this season many might think Fabianski would be happy with that role. Not a bit of it, though.

Moyes did not take too kindly to Fabianski’s public comments essentially saying Areola is the future and it was his decision to make.
Even this week Fabianski, who is in the last year of his contract, made a quip about the club not giving him a longer deal when they signed Jarrod Bowen up for seven years.
Well are we now seeing why West Ham are perhaps preparing to say goodbye to Fabianski at the end of the season?
Do West Ham want to replace ageing star Fabianski with free agent who’s 6 years younger after shock David de Gea claim?

Because according to site Football Transfers, released Man United goalkeeper and former Spain international De Gea has been offered a Premier League lifeline by the Hammers.
The goalkeeper played under Moyes at Man United.
And the report claims that West Ham have already spoken to De Gea’s representatives over a potential 18-month deal which would begin in January.
The same report claims Saudi clubs are showing an interest in new Hammers number one Areola.
But the big Frenchman was desperate to remain in London after his loan at Fulham and nothing has changed since.
There would be no lack of irony to the move given De Gea hit the headlines for a major error in West Ham’s 1-0 win over Man United at the end of last season.
