David Moyes made a shocking new transfer admission that will surely infuriate West Ham fans after the narrow win over Watford.
West Ham fans were furious with the club’s lack of activity in the January transfer window.
With West Ham having so much to play for in the second half of the season – and gaping holes in key areas – many felt it was a big opportunity missed to really push on and inject new life into a squad thin on quality.

A woeful performance from West Ham’s squad players in the fortunate 2-1 FA Cup victory over Kidderminster saw fears over a lack of strength in depth come home to roost.
The Scot defended his squad players insisting they had – until Kiddy – performed well for him on the whole this season, particularly in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
And he challenged his players to prove he was right not to add to the West Ham squad in the January window (whufc.com).

David Moyes makes shocking new transfer admission that will infuriate West Ham fans after narrow Watford win
But after watching West Ham toil to a narrow 1-0 win over relegation battlers Watford, Moyes made a shocking new transfer admission that will infuriate fans by saying he doesn’t have enough options (whufc.com).
“We’ve got options but maybe not as many as I’d like,” Moyes told the club’s official website.
“Maybe I’d like a few more (options) in the future.
“But at the moment we know that (we don’t).”

Moyes made it clear during January that he would only sign players he felt could improve on what he already has.
He also correctly pointed out that West Ham were not alone in doing no business last month as the Hammers were one of nine Premier League clubs who did not make any signings.
That will cut little ice with West Ham fans, though, especially if they continue see a team that is crying out for a spark.

The West Ham boss now faces a busy summer, needing to sign between 10-12 players. The club still needs at least one striker, a centre-back and a left-back.
West Ham also have a host of players out of contract or clearly not in the manager’s plans.
Bringing in that many players at the level Moyes wants won’t be cheap or easy.
