David Moyes could change priority transfer plan as West Ham target is filmed limping after pre-season game.
I actually think McTominay would be a good singing for the Hammers, but we shouldn’t be paying anything like that for him.
Perhaps £30 million would represent decent value for money for West Ham but nothing more than that.
However, it seems as though it could all be a moot point after McTominay suffered what seemed to be a knee injury during Manchester United’s clash with Real Madrid last night…
David Moyes could change priority transfer plan as West Ham target filmed limping after pre-season game
McTominay came on as a second-half substitute during yesterday’s friendly clash with Real Madrid.
However, he suffered what appeared to be a knee injury:
And after the match, McTominay was filmed limping as he left the stadium, although he did say he was ‘alright’:
It remains to be seen just how bad McTominay’s knee actually is.
If it’s bad enough to keep him out beyond the end of the transfer window, David Moyes will undoubtedly have to explore other transfers targets.
And if Manchester United really are demanding £45 million for the Scotland international, missing out on him won’t be a bad thing as far as I’m concerned.
