West Ham manager David Moyes can secure prolific Michail Antonio 2.0 signing next summer.
We think that the Hammers boss has a great chance to address his lack of centre-forward options…for free.
West Ham currently have Antonio as our only recognised striker at the London Stadium.
That clearly isn’t good enough for a club with aspirations of a top six Premier League finish and Europa League glory.
There is a very easy fix for the Hammers though. And it won’t cost us a penny in transfer fees.
David Moyes can secure prolific Michail Antonio 2.0 signing
Andrea Belotti will be leaving Torino on a free summer in the summer of 2022.
That’s according to his manager Ivan Juric:
We think that Belotti is the absolute ideal striker to come in and compete with Antonio.
The 27-year-old has great movement and is accomplished at leading the line on his own. He is strong as an ox and has an impressive goalscoring record with 151 goals his name in 370 career games (Transfermarkt).
Belotti is strong in the air and is very comfortable when playing with his back to goal.
The Italy international is also well-renowned for working tirelessly and making unselfish runs into the channels for his team…much like Antonio does.
The chance to sign Belotti on a free transfer is one that West Ham cannot afford to miss out on.
The 27-year-old really could take the Hammers to another level entirely.
Whether David Moyes sees it that way, however, is another matter entirely.
