West Ham United boss has called for fans not to get caught up in the frenzy and clamour for new signings.
Many West Ham fans are concerned by the club’s lack of activity this summer ahead of a jam-packed season with European football.
But Moyes is asking West Ham fans to trust his process and not get caught up in the clamour and thirst for constant new arrivals and back the players who got the club there in the first place.
It is clear West Ham need new arrivals in key areas such as up front and at centre-back.

Scattergun approach to transfers is the West Ham of old
The West Ham of yesteryear lurched from one crisis to another making scattergun signings left, right and centre in every window.
The constant upheaval was proof West Ham lacked a coherent philosophy and plan. The rudderless, lottery ticket approach became a trademark of the David Sullivan and David Gold tenure.
But since Moyes’s return to the club the opposite has been true. He is in charge of transfers. And West Ham are more diligent and prudent in identifying the RIGHT players and signing them on THEIR terms.
And it is certainly working on the pitch judging by results.

Hammers fans used to feeding off transfer tittle tattle but diligent Moyes wants mindset change
But West Ham fans are creatures of habit and Moyes is trying to change the mindset. Top teams, settled teams do not need overhauls every other window.
Speaking to the press ahead of the season opener at Newcastle, the no nonsense Scot has urged West Ham fans not to get caught up in transfer tittle tattle and the concept of adding players just for the sake of it.
“I am full of confidence in the players I have got,” Moyes said in his pre-match press conference.
“We had a really small squad last year, it is smaller than when we finished last year but overall I trust every one of the players I am putting out at the moment.
“We had to use them all in the run-in last year, different ones had to come in at different times and none of them let us down. I’ve got full faith in all the players and what they can bring to the team…
“I wouldn’t say I’m overly confident (of signing a striker). But I think that’s mainly due to the availability.
“It’s not that West Ham don’t want to sign a striker, or that I don’t want to buy one or the owners don’t want to buy one. It’s more to do with the availability…

Moyes tells fans not to get caught up in transfers and back the players that have helped restore club’s pride
“I don’t want to bring players to the club who are not going to be valuable. I could tick a box and sign a centre-forward which the media or everybody else would accept, maybe even the supporters.
“But I’m only going to bring players who I think will offer something to this team. I could sign a centre-forward but I’m trying to find one who I think will contribute, make a difference, help us and finding that at the right value, as well as having good statistical numbers, isn’t that easy.”
Moyes comments on West Ham fans should sound as more of a warning to supporters not to push any negative feeling over the lack of transfers onto the side he is carefully putting together.
“I don’t think West Ham supporters are frustrated, I think they’re realising how good the team has been,” Moyes said.
“So many will be coming back to see new players who they’ve not seen for the last 18 months who have been doing really well.”
In Moyes we trust.
In other news, what West Ham have just done suggests Moyes is confident of imminent arrival.
