West Ham United seemingly look set to miss out on Bamba Dieng to Leeds United on transfer deadline day.
Sky Sports reporter Tim Thornton broke the news that the 22-year-old is Leeds bound live on air at 4:42pm this evening.

West Ham boss David Moyes was keen to bring the Senegal international to the London Stadium according to a report from MediaFootMarseille.
And Dieng is allegedly available for just £10 million on transfer deadline day.

Moyes could really do with bringing a versatile attacker to West Ham to provide more competition and cover for Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca, as well as the wingers at the London Stadium.
It seems as though Leeds have won the race for Dieng though…
Leeds to beat West Ham to Bamba Dieng
Sky Sports reporter Tim Thornton has claimed that the 22-year-old Marseille ace is closing in on a move to Leeds United:
“The Bamba Dieng transfer, we expect that deal to go through tonight, all being well, he should be touching down very, very soon in Leeds.”
Losing out on Dieng to Leeds will be a real shame as far as we’re concerned.
Dieng is a really exciting young talent and has so much potential.
He has been described as the new Didier Drogba by Get Football News France.
The Senegalese forward bagged seven goals and three assists in 25 Ligue 1 games for Marseille last season (Transfermarkt).

Dieng possesses blistering pace, has fantastic movement and is a nightmare for opposing defenders. He is a pretty good finisher as well.
Ligue 1’s official website describe the Marseille forward as ‘very fast’ and he’s been labelled as ‘absolutely rapid’ as well.
The Marseille starlet is far from the finished article. There are a lot of improvements that he needs to make in his game. And some might say that there are no guarantees of him succeeding in the Premier League.
Having said that, we believe that £10 million is a very fair price for the striker..
It seems as though West Ham will miss out on Bamba Dieng to Leeds though. And that will very much be their gain and our loss.
