Arsenal are reportedly plotting a summer transfer window swoop for supremely talented 18-year-old West Ham target.
According to a report from Sport (print edition March 31st, pages 2+3), Arsenal are ‘mobilising’ for the signing of Athletico Paranaense ace Vitor Roque – a player West Ham United have been chasing for quite some time now.
In addition to that, Mundo Deportivo (print edition March 31st, page 8) claims that the North London club are ‘pressing’ to sign the South American teenager.

And now it seems as though Gunners boss Mikel Arteta could leave West Ham in his wake and is pushing forward with a move to bring the Brazilian to the Premier League ahead of the summer transfer window.
That will be bad news for Hammers manager David Moyes.
However, it seems as though we will have absolutely no chance of signing him unfortunately…
Arsenal ready to sign Vitor Roque in the summer transfer window
Numerous outlets in Spain are claiming that Arsenal are leading the race to sign the 18-year-old Brazilian wonderkid.
At just 18, the young winger is a precocious talent. Foot The Ball describe Roque as an ‘incredible’ young player. He is a truly stunning athlete with an incredibly high ceiling.

He can play on either wing or as a centre-forward, and he has already racked up a respectable 17 goals and five assists in 61 senior appearances (Transfermarkt).
As you would imagine, the Brazilian possesses exceptional technical ability. He has incredible pace and strength for someone so young and is a really hard worker off the ball.
In my opinion, Vitor Roque will go on to become a real star in the game. He is valued at around £36 million (UOL).
Considering his talent and potential, that fee will be great value for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
Unfortunately for us though, it seems as though Vitor Roque could be Arsenal bound in the summer transfer window.
