Actor and celebrity West Ham United fan Nick Frost has called on the club to set the record straight over the club’s transfer situation.
Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz star Frost is a massive West Ham fan.
And like many of his fellow West Ham supporters, Frost is feeling underwhelmed by the club’s lack of transfer activity this summer.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
Areola remains West Ham’s only business of the summer window, for now
Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola remains West Ham’s only proper signing this summer – on loan – as Craig Dawson’s permanent move was activated last season.
And David Moyes clearly needs more reinforcements, particularly up front and in central defence.
Privately West Ham have been very clear all summer that A) Moyes is fully in charge of transfers as he has been since his return to the club – with great success. And B) money IS available for signings.
Many Hammers fans concerned by lack of activity ahead of jam-packed new season
Despite links to a host of players West Ham are yet to get any further deals over the line with the season starting this Sunday and the window closing in less than three weeks.
But some Hammers supporters are becoming increasingly restless.
Frost is one of them. And he has taken to Twitter to call on the club to issue a statement on their intentions in the transfer window.

“I wish someone at West Ham would get on Twitter and say something like “Hey. We know it’s frustrating, we’re frustrated but trust us. It’s happening and you’re going to LOVE IT! We appreciate you guys. Sorry for putting you through this every season! COYI!!!”,” Frost posted on Twitter to his 1.2million followers.
In some other posts, Frost makes it clear he is impressed with the signing of Areola.
But the actor wants to see more action.
In other news, David Ornstein delivers big boost for West Ham’s striker hopes.
And Tuchel admits he simply doesn’t trust West Ham target ahead of move.
