Tottenham are threatening to derail one of the priority transfer plans for West Ham United manager David Moyes this summer.
West Ham boss David Moyes has a really big week ahead of him in the summer transfer window, and Tottenham could be set to make it a nightmare for the Scot.

The Hammers are still yet to make single signing this summer, whilst Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has made some impressive additions.

The thing is, our season starts in just six day’s time and as things stand, our squad is nowhere near good enough in my opinion.
Moyes has one or two top transfer targets, and if he can get them signed, we’ll be in a far stronger position. However, it seems as though Tottenham could be about to spoil the Scot’s party…
Absolute nightmare for West Ham as Tottenham move in to sign David Moyes transfer target
According to a report from the Daily Star, Spurs could hijack the Hammers’ move to sign Southampton skipper James Ward-Prowse this summer.
The 28-year-old Saints ace is believed to be Moyes number one transfer target this summer.
And considering how bad this summer window has been already for West Ham, losing out on Ward-Prowse to Tottenham really would top it all off for Moyes.
Ward-Prowse is a set-piece specialist and his free-kick and corner taking technique has been described as ‘unreal’ (Give Me Sport).

The 11-capped England international is a real leader, and has captained Southampton for years. Ward-Prowse is extremely fit, hardly ever misses a game and has impressive technical ability.
It’s easy to see why Moyes is so desperate to bring him to the London Stadium this summer.
Now, I think that the Scot should be looking for more ambitious signings, with youth on their side. However, if JWP is the man who the West Ham boss wants, then I’ll back him to the hilt.
Should Tottenham gatecrash West Ham’s interest in the Ward-Prowse transfer though, Moyes may well be left wondering what he actually has to do to get a signing over the line.
