West Ham United could allegedly now sign Sevilla ace Lucas Ocampos for just €20 million (£17 million) this summer.
That’s according to a report from Diario de Sevilla who claim that Sevilla have drastically dropped their asking price for the 27-year-old Argentinian star.
Hammers boss David Moyes has been linked with a move to sign the Sevilla ace for quite some time now (Calciomercato).
Back in April, Estadio Deportivo claimed that the La Liga side were demanding as much as £67 million for the South American winger.
Those demands have reduced significantly, however, if a report from a local Seville newspaper is to be believed…
West Ham can now sign Lucas Ocampos on the cheap
Diario de Sevilla reckon that the Hammers could pick up the Argentina international for around £17 million this summer.
That’s a whole £50 million less than the Spanish side were demanding just two months ago!
We believe that West Ham can’t go wrong for that kind of money and Moyes should not hesitate to sign the Sevilla ace.
He was recently described as a ‘sensational’ winger (Golazo Argentino).
Ocampos is incredibly technically gifted and has really impressive pace and quality in the final third.
The 27-year-old bagged nine goals and six assists in 42 games for Sevilla last season (Transfermarkt).
He can play anywhere along the front-line and is comfortable using both feet. Signing him seemed almost impossible when Sevilla were allegedly demanding £67 million.
West Ham could reportedly now pick up Lucas Ocampos for just £17 million though. And David Moyes bringing him to the London Stadium for that kind of fee seems like an absolute no-brainer.
