Will Still has performed a major U-turn on his Reims future amid uncertainty over David Moyes’ position at West Ham.

The future of David Moyes at West Ham has been – and will continue to be – the subject of fervent speculation until the summer it seems.

Moyes has been under intense pressure for some time with a host of managers linked as his potential replacement at West Ham.

Hammers majority stakeholder David Sullivan has been consistent in his backing of Moyes despite West Ham’s struggles in the league this season.

Sullivan repeatedly backed the Scot when speaking to Hammers News.

But a recent report made an incredible claim that Sullivan and the Hammers board have decided to part ways with Moyes this summer even if he keeps the club up and they win the Europa Conference League.

One managerial candidate in particular has become an increasingly intriguing option among some West Ham supporters.

You all know the Will Still story by now.

But for those who don’t – Still is the young manager who has taken Ligue 1 by storm with unfancied Reims.

The remarkable story about Still and what he has been doing at Reims is fascinating.

Hammers News suggested recently that Still is a man worth keeping an eye on given the club’s continued struggles under Moyes.

Having repeatedly stated in interviews that he dreams of managing West Ham, it is no surprise Still continues to be linked as a potential replacement for Moyes.

Indeed it was claimed last month Still is on a six-man shortlist compiled by the West Ham board.

But now Still has performed major U-turn on his Reims future amid uncertainty over Moyes’ position at West Ham.

In an interview with French outlet L’Union, Still says he is in talks over remaining at Reims and is hugely ambitious.

The West Ham fan then quipped he will only leave ‘if Real Madrid come knocking’ and expects his future to be settled soon.

“I am super competitive and I want Stade de Reims to challenge the sides that play in Europe,” Still said.

“The conversations that we’re having with (the management) are really interesting. We’re talking about players that will come in, those that will leave, the salary, the working conditions. It will be sorted before June.

“Unless Real Madrid come knocking at my door (I will stay with Reims).”
