‘What a player he is’: Divin Mubama has suggested that West Ham United have a very special talent coming through the ranks.

West Ham striker Divin Mubama, 18, has been the standout performer for the West Ham under-18s this season.

The young forward didn’t score in the the FA Youth Cup final in north London last night, but played a key role in his side’s victory.

Another key player for us both last night and this season in general has been supremely talented teenager Ollie Scarles.

And Mubama absolutely raved about the 17-year-old Hammers starlet after last night’s cup final victory…

Divin Mubama raves about West Ham under-18s teammate

The 18-year-old sensational spoke to reporters after the 5-1 FA Youth Cup final win against Arsenal at the Emirates last night.

And Mubama responded when asked just how good his teammate Ollie Scarles is, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account:

“Ah, what a player he is man, I wish I could play with hime very week. Ollie has been fantastic.”

Mubama isn’t wrong – Scarles really is a very special young talent.

The 17-year-old has already proven that he’s ready to mix it with the very best at senior level, during his debut appearance for the first-team against FCSB last year.

Divin Mubama is one of the most exciting West Ham youngsters, so his praise of his teammate will mean a lot to Scarles.

Let’s hope that we get to see both players representing the first-team next season.
