West Ham United waiting game could well be a genius move, but reported summer plan is beyond ludicrous.
David Moyes has guided West Ham to a successful European campaign this season, but the same cannot be said for our Premier League endeavours.

Relegation down to the Championship would be an absolute disaster for the Hammers, it really would.
Our form since January 2022 has been really worrying and there are genuine concerns that Moyes’s system has been truly found out.
Those in and around us have made big calls to sack their managers – all but Leicester City.
However, the West Ham board are sticking with Moyes. Could that actually end up being a masterstroke from the board?

The likes of Southampton, Bournemouth, Leeds, Everton, Crystal Palace and Wolves have all sacked their managers over the past few months.
The Hammers have held their nerve though, and kept Moyes in the hot-seat.
If West Ham can get a win against Southampton, and pick up some points against Fulham and Newcastle, we will be in a great position to stay up, and can then concentrate on achieving glory in Europe.
Should the Hammers retain our Premier League status, the Hammers owners will deserve huge praise for for sticking with their man. I have been calling for Moyes to be sacked for some time now, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want things to work out, obviously.
I will happily hold my hands up if Moyes leads us to a fine run of form between now and the end of the season.
However, it must be said, whatever happens over the next couple of months, the Scot needs to be moved on in the summer.
West Ham quite simply need to go in a new direction with a young, dynamic and progressive manager, if we really want to make some genuine progress.
It was recently claimed that the Hammers will stick with David Moyes, even if we get relegated down to the Championship (talkSPORT).
That would just be ludicrous wouldn’t it, and it would be a decision layered with a lack of ambition.
West Ham playing the waiting game with Moyes now could end up being a genius move, but the alleged summer plan to keep him regardless of what happens is nothing more than ludicrous.
