It was West Ham vs Spurs at the darts but who came out on top as legendary referee Russ Bray took on Micky van de Ven.
There is no love lost between West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur.
Especially after the Hammers got one over on their fierce rivals Spurs with that comeback win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium recently.
But the West Ham and Tottenham rivalry has now extended to the PDC World Darts Championship.

West Ham vs Spurs at the darts
The 2024 tournament is taking place at Alexandra Palace as the best tungsten throwers from across the globe descend on north London for the sport’s show-piece event.
And it attracts stars from other sports, particularly football, with the likes of Spurs star James Maddison a huge fan.
Lifelong West Ham fanatic Russ Bray has announced he will be retiring after the tournament.
But before doing so he was challenged by one of Maddison’s teammates – defender Micky van de Ven.

It was West Ham vs Spurs at the darts but who came out on top as Bray takes on van de Ven.
The £43m centre-back is also a huge darts fan and was at Ally Pally to watch Raymond van Barneveld.
And he took on Bray in a nine-dart challenge in front of the lively crowd.
There was a funny moment when the Spurs star was announced to the crowd for his walk-on as the crowd began booing before chanting “Tottenham get battered everywhere they go.”

Van de Ven gets some revenge for Spurs
But MC John McDonald offered words of reassurance telling the Tottenham star ‘They’re all booing you Micky but they’ll want to sign you next week’.
So who came out on top in the battle of West Ham man Bray and van de Ven?
Well there was a measure of Tottenham revenge as van de Ven needed only six darts to beat the Hammer.
It was all good fun and the West Ham and Tottenham men shared a warm embrace up at the oche.
